A student workshop titled "Da Vinci Surgical Robot."

As part of its efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being
SDG 4: Quality Education),
The Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Engineering Technology organized a student workshop titled "Da Vinci Surgical Robot" on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. The workshop was presented by Mustafa Azhar and Zainab Rafid and attended by faculty members and a number of students.
The workshop addressed the role of artificial intelligence in developing surgical techniques, highlighting the Da Vinci robot as one of the pioneering innovations in the medical field. The two students also reviewed the robot's mechanism of action and its advantages in performing delicate operations, in addition to discussing its future applications in the healthcare sector.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the two students received inquiries from the attendees, who expressed their appreciation for these student initiatives that enhance students' awareness of recent developments in the field of biomedical engineering.
